The HOPE NOW! Project is a program of the Just Willing Foundation. (JW). HOPE NOW! Project supports one-to-one mentoring for youth in the New Orleans area that are at risk for substance abuse failing in school, gang activity, or delinquent behavior. Mentor-Mentee matches are made based on expressed interests, the needs of the youth involved, and the mutual agreement of all parties.

The HOPE NOW! Project is applying for federal funding through several departments. Corporate and Foundation support is being sought to provide this very important training. The HOPE NOW! program has stringent qualifications involving mentor qualification, selection, training, and monitoring. Quality controls are in place to ensure overall program quality, both operationally and fiscally.

The Just Willing Foundation empowers inner-city males and young fathers ages 12-19 to become responsible men and productive members of their communities.

Founded in 2004, the Just Willing Foundation works directly with parents, teachers, and school administrators to improve the social climate and family cohesion. The Just Willing Foundation was chosen as the 2005 Unsung Hero because of its first year of delivering successful mentoring and community service programs in the New Orleans area.
