Golf for Kids Classic honoring Dr. Charles C. Teamer, Sr.
This year the Just Willing Foundation will honor Dr. Charles C. Teamer, Sr. at its Golf for Kids Educational Classic. The classic will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the Stonebridge Country Golf Club.

Digital Divide Summit
On April 12, 2008 at the New Orleans Marriott, the Just Willing Foundation along with Microsoft Corporation, Intel, and the City of New Orleans will provide 50 brand new computers to families across the New Orleans area in an effort to bridge the Digital Divide. Students from the Just Willing Foundation of New Orleans will build each computer from scratch. These students will make presentations to families in New Orleans who do not have access to computers or the internet.
Summer Freedom School Registration
This year the Just Willing Foundation will host their Annual Summer Freedom School at the Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Algiers, Louisiana. There are currently fifty (50) slots available for students ranging in the ages of 5 – 13. Registrations are available now. Any interested participants should contact Joshua Williams, Jr. at 504.261.0383. The summer camp will run for 5 days a week, 7 hours a day for six (6) weeks.
Technology Enrichment Camp for Males
A technology camp has begun in an effort to attract our young men of this community with a positive program which teaches self esteem, motivational speaking, positive male reinforcement, teen pregnancy prevention and of course technology. In conjunction with the ENOUGH!! Initiative at the New Hope Baptist Church, this program is held two days a week (Tuesday & Friday) from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The focus of this program is to teach technology in an effort that these participants would gather the skill set to build a computer. At the culmination of this class, participants will have an opportunity to take the A+ Certification test to become certified technicians. Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program at O. Perry Walker Charter School
 The Just Willing Foundation in a collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Social Services, City of New Orleans Health Department, Children Defense Fund and InnerLink, Inc. The Be Responsible! Initiative is a teen pregnancy prevention demonstration project. This project trained over 35 students ranging from ages 15-19 on the responsibility of teen pregnancy. With the addition of Medical doctors, judges, lawyers and policeman, social workers and business professionals, all added to the success of this program. All participants consisting of young women and young men gained valuable information and knowledge on manhood and womanhood. These students also participated in Teen Pregnancy Prevention month by getting other students to participate in a national teen pregnancy survey that was administered over the internet. The program was monitored and evaluated by the Louisiana State University School of Social Work. The Just Willing Foundation was acknowledged by the Louisiana Department of Social Services for conducting a well organized and operated program.
